The Glimmering Adventure in the Blocky World
I layered oil paints to create the adventure world of my imagination. Classic pixelated square characters are scattered throughout the image, wearing brightly colored coats and standing side-by-side on stacked earth and bricks. For the background, I used large swaths of romantic pinkish-purple tones, creating a striking contrast with the massive black shadow (the Enderman) in the upper left corner.
